Hess NuBlu Thursday's:

Every Thursday (for a while forward) Hess is More is doing a music vs art thing at NuBlu (NY) (read more here). I was there last Thursday . The artist Alfredo had built two giant boxes, one containing Mr Hess himself, the other one containing the keyboardist... 2 sets were played and the experiment was to see if it is possible to preform without seeing each other.

I found not seeing Hess... I almost forgot that he was there and as an audience I tended to interact with the environment around me instead...because it's hard to look at a stage with two giant boxes (even though there where other musicians standing outside e g percussion, sax, vibes etc), also when he spoke (he has a very deep voice) it was like listening to storytelling cassette from when I was a kid.

Yesterday they had another event (I'm still out here on in Long Island). Soon the Backstage/ Fashion photographer Jannick Boerlum will post pictures from that event. But for now you can check the beauties from last week on his blog.

... met the Swedes that are putting on 'Music Doc' in NY this april. They had a little 'kick on' (play on 'kick off' I suppose), ...

...had the second real picnic in Central Park , I think we were 20 people total, ...

...had dinner at 'Mesa Coyoacán'.(It's the best Mexican I've ever been to in NY)...

...Saw Taihisha Grant preform @ Feinstein's (very good indeed. Nice to hear her with a live band and bax voxers.)
...and cooled my laptop down with broccoli, panicking..... trying to save the 2 latest songs for my new album (:S!!!!!!!) my computer been shutting itself off...Monday it achieved 9 times in an hour . (AAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaa)
