Last night I went to Bedford to see Douge E Fresh (and his son).I've only heard rumors prior...that events in Brooklyn can boil beyond the point of melting, and yesterday was the first time I got to experience it in a real patriotic way (I've been to clubnights where this exists...but it is something special when your sitting next to a 100 families -that you don't know- and they are screaming 'Bed Stuy' for all that they got) People - oldies, younges, women, men, children, teens where dancing and enjoying the musical lesson that he put on. As I wrote to Alex earlier on FB Doug E Fresh was more hosting instead of beat-boxing (that's his forte, for all you that didn't know) for an hour (btw what's up with all these retro-lessons that everyone is doing live now days. I don't mind them... It's just a huuuuuuuge trend right now, any concert you go to. There is a long retro segment involved somehow.). He did beatbox a couple of minutes and included 44 off these...
Love you/Kissey
