....last night (the one I was volunteering at) Hugh Masakela and Paul Simon was up on stage together.Freaking awesome.

Heat-wave in ...
...New York! This weekend I went out to the Hamptons for the predicted heatwave. And boy! What a nice,nice warmth the sun is giving us. Right now I'm lying in the living room shade all defeated by the sun. The cherry trees are blooming. Anyhow! back to this weekend. We stayed in this house that has a pond that seems to be a Noa's ark. It a natural pond (not manmade) and it's filled with turtles, fish, birds...
When we where on our way to the ocean we saw this HUGE thing walking alongside the road. It the closest thing I 've ever seen to a dinosaur...

In Ant's apartment, he's building a beat....it's beautiful. His cat is lying on the rug sleeping. I just went for a bikeride. Meet a swedish lady (70+) and her american husband at the bike rental. Everything is easy. How come we forget that it's all easy. We get caught up in difficult and problems and we forget it's there to become easy.

How bizzare...
...do you remember that song that went 'how bizarre'...sometime in the 90s a big hit..can't remember anything else thou. How are you today my deary? I'm ok thanks, but don't let me bore you today with that. So what's up? how is things? Isn't bizarre how the weather is going back and forth. Yesterday was pink-thursday in Sweden. It's like Halloween but easter time...the kids dresss up like witches and asks for treats...no tricks. The old story tells that the witches jumped on there broomsticks and jeted to the BlueHill with there cats.
Right now I'm watching my neighbours teve. Am I the only person that does that?...it looks like he's flickering between x-rated stuff and cars (and by seeing this I assume that it's a man)... now it loks like Dynasty is on. I always wonder and daydream about who my neighbours are. It sometime make sense like this one:
It was clearly a bachelor in a pimp-penthouse looking at x-rated teve before he goes Downtown to spend $2,50 at a peepshow (he's a cheap bastard).... my story got confused by 2 oriental women entering the apartment, they look like 60 plus....one has a walking chair ...she sits down infront of the teve....My conclusion:
I need a pair of glasses because it can't be that she's watching x-rated (maybe a bad 80s movie) and that they must be the man's lesbian mothers...(if there is a man living there at all)

I Roots-jammed...
... Monday we went down to the Highline for the Roots weekly show to celebrate a friends birthday....when getting there ...I get the info that I'm on (:S). Haven't sunk in yet, would have been to intimidating. A big part of making this real was Mr Brainchild.

...been? Pretty nice I must say. Can only make a short post cause I need to run to the store, but check it out :
Thursday:
Was in the studio all day. Went to Cornelia Street Cafe to listen to Cecila do some Coltrain songs with some musicans. Cozy and nice.
Friday:
Was home made veg-meatballs with pasta I guess (even thou I don't eat pasta...so it was more meatballs for me) Turned out really weird used Quorn....a little of a disappointment.. B, her sister and her sisters boyfriends made mojitos and a gigantic samba party started. They were so strong so that after 1 glass of wine and a half mojito I feel asleep...a rum classic when it comes to me.
Saturday:
Hungover. BROOKLYN day. Went to BagPack's brunch at Flatbush Farm. We ended up being really much people 9 or so. Then we went for a walk. Went to guitarr center + Victoria Secrets and then to Dj Sam Champion's for beats listening. After that to OP!'s order in played with his logic. Saw an AWESOME dvd with Nina Simone live in Montreuax . WOW! I wish I had seen her live, what a pondus, waiting for people to give her enough applause and stuff.
After that me, Scribe and Cecilia headed to Deity and Dundee & Stimulus's: Brooklyn Bounce. Had some more drinks, chilled, danced. Looked at Cecila preform, listen to the guys spinn and the final stop for the night: Soda where Op! and Sam Champion was dj:ing. A full Brooklyn Day.
Sunday (Today):
Today it's 'knytis' ,as we Swede's call it, in the appartment so any minute now people are going to come. I'm heading out to get some stuff to make a WhiteWine-Sangria.
